Meet the Team
Black Parent Collective is led by three dedicated moms who turned shared challenges into a powerful movement.
Together, they bring passion and lived experience to building community, celebrating identity, and advocating for black families.

Desiree Dockery
As a mother in a large blended family, supporting and nurturing my family is my top priority. Through my own parenting journey, there were times I found myself in need of support but unable to show up as my full, authentic self in existing spaces.
The Black Parent Collective is a community where Black parents can connect, share, and be fully seen while supporting our families and one another.
Nicole Allijohn
The Black Parent Collective is close to my heart because it grew out of our real-life experiences as parents navigating systems that didn’t always see or support our children.
I’m passionate about this work because I’ve witnessed the power of community — and how feeling connected can truly change lives.

Aisha Saintiche
As a mother of two daughters and a son, the opportunity to be a part of community committed to creating and building community is both a privilege and passion.
The Black Parent Collective is a growing network of like minded people who believe in the restoration and preservation of the Black family, while giving a voice and advocating for those who often feel unheard and unseen.
